179. Training and iron nerves
Looks like the works associated with the pylon renewal.
Although there is no harm when ourself becomes the same voltage of 500 kV as that of the lines, the work must require substantial trainings and among others iron nerves.

178. Noise level increase
A nearby No. 30 pylon of Bousou 500 kv transmission lines.
A brand new one emerged beside the existing tower.
Of all things, what astonished me is the existence of the self-standing crane truck with its height of well over 80 meters.
The new one looks taller than the existing one by about 20 meters. Though this is inevitable as the urban area is approaching to the right of way, I have to be prepared for the possible increase of noise level when I direct my antenna to the east direction.

177. Lord Asikaga Takauji
Asikaga town is synonymous with this person.
A statue of Lord Takauji standing beside the pilgrim path to the Ban-na Temple dedicated to pray for the eternal respite of the Asikaga family.

176. Academy in Bandou
Fine autumn sky brought us to the town of Asikaga.
The photo shows Asikaga Gakkou (school) seen from a pedestrian bridge in front of a public parking lot.
"Academy in Bandou which is the greatest and the most famous in Japan" is said to be the description of Francisco de Xavier (a Jesuit missionary who visited Japan in the mid 16th century).

175. Autumn sky
The bike trek along Shinkawa under the autumn sky.
The cars lining up all the way are for the people enjoying fishing.

174. P2J fondly remembered
The word, P3C, reminds me of its predecessor, P2J.
So, I checked my old photo albums. Yes, there they are. The P2J at Shimousa in 1970.
I duplicated the monochrome photo prints as they are.
Umm--, these are the things well over 40 years ago.

MSDF Shimousa yesterday.
Seems P1 era is coming.
Different from the time of P2V/J transition to P3C, there was no US interference for the P1 development, and all came to this point.

Lst month I soptted 4 swans on the water in front of A rental boat shop beside the Funato bridge. Today also they ware there.
When I directed my camera to them, they came up to my front through the ramp for bas-fishing boats.
Acc. to the owner of the boat shop, they came flying a month ago and have been there since then.

171. Shrike
Autumn brings about the shrieking of shrikes, ki-, ki-, kiri, kiri, kiri, here and there.
Probably because of their nature to keep vigilant lookout for preys, they immediately flee when I direct my camera lens to them.
They seem to be always vigilant, when they remain silent and also when shrieking.
If and when they sing gently, kyururu-, kyuru-, it is the time to take the photo.

170. "Tonosama-batta" (migratory locust)
Happened to encounter this locust, when I was thinking of it, a long time no see.
On my cycling along the Shinkawa cycling road, I barely trod this creature.
Upon hurriedly returning to the place, I took several photos.
Ummm. this locust indeed deserves the name "tonosama" (lord).
